What colors should we wear?
When planning outfits, the colors on the wheel above tend to edit the best. I always encourage my clients to go for muted tones of colors. Cream instead of white, maroon instead of red, mustard instead of yellow etc.
What if it is windy?
If you have longer hair, or pesky hair that doesn't like to lay down flat, I always recommend to my clients to bring hairspray to help prevent flyaways.
What about Glasses?
If anyone in your photos wears glasses on the regular, please consider buying an economical pair of reading glasses that you can pop out the lenses of for your session. This is a great option to still let you wear the frame of glasses, but without the challenges of glare from the glass lenses. If glasses are Blue light or transition type lenses, they will have to be taken off for photos.
What location will we use for the photos?
With over 10 years of photography experience, I have multiple locations I love to use. Together, we will plan locations together based on the vibe you are wanting to create with your portraits. I have lots of connections and resources! I can usually make about anything happen. I always welcome new location ideas as well.
